My Story
Welcome to my journey into the world of technology! It all began on an otherwise ordinary day when I was helping a friend prepare for a Sunday service at a local church. That day turned out to be the beginning of my lifelong fascination with open source technology.

We were in the midst of uploading content when suddenly, the internet connection dropped. This wasn't unusual, but what happened next opened my eyes to a whole new world. My friend, without skipping a beat, booted up a live version of Backtrack. I watched in awe as he expertly connected a Wi-Fi adapter, opened a terminal, and began scanning for nearby networks that had WPS enabled. He then employed Reaver to access a neighboring network. This was my first real introduction to the practical power of open source tools in overcoming real-world challenges.
During the network attack, my friend shared his enthusiasm for Linux and open source software by showing me the documentary "Revolution OS". The film and our ensuing conversation about the endless possibilities of Linux inspired me deeply. When we returned from lunch, the program had successfully completed its task. Though our original internet service was restored, my friend demonstrated the successful connection to the new network—a symbolic gesture of the new pathway he had opened for me in technology.

Having spent significant time working in government roles where I saw vast amounts of money spent on subpar products, the efficiency, creativity, and potential of open source solutions particularly resonated with me.
